Relais agritourism Ormesani is located in San Liberale di Marcon, in an excellent position that is far from city traffic and the big communication routes, yet it is conveniently placed to access the highway junctions of North Eastern Italy (A4 Trieste – Torino, A27 Mestre – Belluno) and Venice airport (7 kilometers). Venice is 20 kilometers away, Treviso 25 kilometers, and Jesolo beach just 30 kilometers. The Relais agritourism is near the historic center of Venice and the most famous cultural and tourist sites, such as Treviso and the ancient Altino. Taking the train is the best way of arriving to Venice. Quarto d’Altino station is four and a half kilometers away. A train leaves here every half hour for the historic center (Santa Lucia station faces the Grand Canal!) which brings you to the city in 30 minutes. Move around on foot or by boat to discover the unique charm of Venice. Awaiting you: the splendid St. Mark's Square with the Basilica and Palazzo Ducale, the remarkable Rialto Bridge with its characteristic market of the same name, the Gallerie dell’Accademia with its masterpieces by Giorgione and Tiziano and even more splendid, the huge Correr exhibitions and the Venice Arts Festival.
The beauty of Venice is unbeatable, as is the delicate charm of Treviso, the city of water at the meeting of two rivers mentioned by Dante in the famous verse of the Divine Comedy “...dove Sile e Cagnan s'accompagna...” .
Dante Bridge remains one of the most picturesque areas of the city. Medieval Treviso with its sixteenth-century walls is a mix of little streets and alleys with its characteristic porticos that converge on Piazza dei Signori, the heart of the city that faces the fourteenth-century Palazzo della Signoria.
Also worth visiting, the nearby Loggia dei Cavalieri, Casa dei Carraresi, the location of a prestigious art exhibition, the medieval San Francesco and San Nicolò Churches and Pescheria with its charming houses on the water.
Don't forget to visit Altino, just 10 minutes from the Relais agritourism, ancient Altinum, the flourishing Roman city, evidence of which is found in the excavations and the National Archeological Museum.
